15.12.2013 – P R E M I E R A :    Centura Sudica a Fortunei – Partea V

Din acel punct corespunzator celui de-al saselea drenor, unde Centura Sudica a Fortunei lasa spre nord o spartura cu apa mica catre Canalul Cranjala, centura coboara spre SV paralel cu canalul Cranjala urmand sa iasa practic in acesta dupa circa 600 – 900 m printr-o curba pronuntata la dreapta (V).

Malurile raman ferme, slab impadurite cu salcii, propice campatului, insa adancimea apei scade, ajungand pe ape mici (+ 140 cm cota apelor Dunarii la Tulcea) la valori de circa 1 m.

La intersectia cu Canalul Cranjala se remarca sectiunea sudica a canalului, mai lata, care ne conduce catre Maliuc si sectiunea nordica a Canalului Cranjala, mult mai ingusta, care ne conduce catre Lacul Fortuna.

Adancimea pe Canalul Cranjala pe ape mici este de circa 1 m, scazand dramatic in sectiunea sudica (in dreptul satului)  la 0.5 m pe ultimii 500 m. La iesirea in Dunare a Canalului Cranjala acesta prezinta o intinsura pe toata latimea canalului, loc in care apa masoara mai putin de 0.3 m. Abordarea iesirii / intrarii pe Canalul Cranjala in / din Dunare trebuie facuta exact pe centru, cu motorul ridicat la maxim.
