15.12.2013 – P R E M I E R A :    Centura Sudica a Fortunei – Partea IV

Dupa intersectia cu al patrulea drenor lasat spre sud, Centura Sudica a Fortunei incepe sa urce catre NV. Adancimea apei incepe sa scada catre 1 – 1.5 m pe ape mici, plaja superioara (+ 140 cm cota apelor Dunarii la Tulcea) iar canalul incepe sa se stranga pierzand mult din latime, ajungand la o latime de circa 10 m.

Malurile raman ferme, insa malul sudic este din ce in ce mai putin impadurit, prezentand zone largi potrivite camparii. Din cand in cand cate o cioata taiata de pescari rasare din apa insa poate fi ocolita cu usurinta.

La mai putin de 1 Km de intersectia cu cel de-al cincilea drenor, Centura Sudica a Fortunei incepe sa coboare pronuntat spre SV, mergand practic paralel cu Canalul Cranjala. In dreptul intersectiei cu cel de-al saselea drenor se deschide spre N o trecere ingusta catre Canalul Cranjala, locul fiind marcat de o serie de buturugi retezate de catre localnici. Pe ape mici trecerea in Canalul Cranjala in acea sectiune este impracticabila, adancimea apei fiind mai mica de 30 cm.
