Drumul continua catre Capidava, oferind cand si cand, perspective impresionante asupra Dunarii. Ceea ce acum o luna era o larga pajuste cultivata de sateni, acum era… apa. La limita zonei inundate se vede un … “covor de berze”.

In pozele 4, 5, 6 si 7 se vad doi copaci care par infloriti. In realitate au frunzele albe in zona posterioara. In conditiile unor debite mici, acesti doi copaci sunt in mijlocul unei pasuni. Acum erau in apa pana la jumatatea trunchiurilor.

Drumul continua chiar pe un soi de dig, ultima aparare in calea apei. Intre Drumul Frumos si Dunare este o padure de plop, acum complet inundata.
